The next 10×100 days are decisive for peacefully reorganising human activity within planetary boundaries.
10×100 is the organisational heartbeat for a 1000 Day Action Alliance of people who aim to improve decision processes that enable our societies to deal with complexity and volatility.
Each 100 day loop provides a mechanism for aligning and leveraging policy practices that support us as a global community to unlock current path dependencies with and for people on the ground.
Upcoming events
July 2022
Virtual work session for detailing individual building blocks e.g. stakeholder engagement, process design and resources
August 2022
Retreat during the European Forum Alpbach
Which decisions can you adjust in the next 100 days to better care for the future?
Mutual Benefit
Dealing with wicked problems whose origins exceed one area of expertise is part of working with and in public policy.
The 100-day learning loops offer space to review current decision modes, provoke disruptive exchanges and redesign decision routines that can be tested in daily working environments.
Peers will support each other in prototyping small changes in their own decisions, evaluate consequences regularly and amplify each others work.
Worth our time
There is a need and opportunity to leverage our work strategically by mutually reinforcing it. Systemic Creativity and Open Cooperation can be enhanced if diverse activities are purposefully connected.
Intended results
Emerging practices can be structured and learning accelerated. Together, we can build enabling conditions for transformative decision making — contributing to a peaceful societal reorganisation.

Official start of the first 100 day learning loop
You are welcome
We just started to design the framework and outline the first learning loop, making it easy to join for 100 days – several times. Reach out if you’d like to participate in the first cohorte.
Privacy is valued
All contributions will be made available to all alliance members — anonymously. Our work will be done under Creative Commons, based on the Chatham Rule, unless it is jointly decided otherwise.
Approach
10×100 aims to connect good decision practice, coordinate strategic opportunities and leverage explorative pathways by:
- Reviewing, expanding and adapting individual decision routines based on collective sensemaking and intuition
- Connecting global and local actors by identifying principles for emerging policy coherence with a focus on implementation
- Supporting capability building through open and participatory model processes, mechanisms and metrics
Your contribution matters
Finding more effective ways from why to how, includes to be radically transparent about what is not working and being open for new ways of combining our knowledge and our action.
Interdependence as an opportunity
“To be whole. To be complete. Wildness reminds us what it means to be human, what we are connected to rather than what we are separate from.”

About
There are ever more actors around the world engaging with positive change in society — creating the frameworks for building transformative practices.
Many of us influence traditional levers of power, and are part of identifying opportunities for deep transitions towards sustainable futures.
Instead of dispersed networks trying to shift the status quo, 10×100 aims to strategically link short-term crisis responses with long-term systems change.
Who we are
A group of dedicated individuals who encourage a peaceful and science-based decarbonisation where all people can experience change and understand that each of us can make a difference.
Why 10×100 started
Inadequate decision-making processes have systematically prevented a proactive transformation. Adaptations need to happen where we live and work in order to make positive effects tangible on a planetary scale.
